My vision of Lord Voldemort of Harry Potter fame. Saw him as being more gaunt, nosferatu with a bit of snake. my first completed digital painting in painter, not sure how many hours (maybe 10?-probably a little more). Hurray for me>:}

omfg, you are so beyond incredible. And I definitely agree with the previous comment, this depiction is cooler then the movie..... really, I can't stop staring, it's just so masterfully painted.. Well, off to brag to my friends about what a talented mate I have. XD *huggle*

Yes, this is definitely along the lines of what I imagine him as when I read the book. Very freaking creepy; I love the way you did his pale skin and his glowing red eyes... Arrr *scared*

I do love Voldemort, and I must say that this is a lot creepy/scary than anything I'll find in Rowling's books! Kudos!

those Eyes! I love them. Very... piercing. And that gaunt face! Paleness makes the Dark Lord creepy. Much like I imagined him being, only much much better than I could ever put down on paper. ^^;;

It's just exactly how I imagined Voldemort! But it's the colouring and paintery effect in the first place what makes this picture great^^

The paint job in this picture is what makes it worthwhile. The pose is a little cliched, and the composition thrown off by the Dark Mark growing directly out of Voldemort's head in the background. However, the painterly effect of the colors, the way the black of his robe absorbs the painting. The color composition of this piece is impeccable.
The most attractive part of this painting is the Dark Lord's head, and the negative space that forms between his head, down his shoulder and arm, and the edge of the page.
